Hi, I’m Richard Quick. I expect to to be happy and healthy right up to eternity.
Your body has what I call Integral Intelligence. That’s how it grows and heals itself. All we have to do, is to not get in the body’s way.
Unfortunately, that’s exactly what we do.
We stress it physically, mentally, emotionally and chemically. Is there any wonder why we get sick and tired?
The human body is so complex that we still don’t know how it all works. However, we do know that what you put into it really matters.
Just like a car or a computer, what you put in, is what you get out.
The human body is a vehicle with a vastly superior computing system (Integral Intelligence).
You can fuel it with organic food or junk food.
You can program it with fear, anxiety, and guilt, or with love, calmness and compassion.
The Self-taught Guinea Pig Health Nut
When I was in my late twenties, I decided to put better food/nutrition and better thoughts into my body and mind.
I like to read. So, I read everything about health that appeared to be logical. Then I tested what I learned on myself.
I must have done something right, because I’m still healthy and happy now that I’m in my 60’s.
Along the way I have explored: herbal medicine, nutrition, fasting, fruit juicing, vegetarianism, organic food, meditation, nootropics, Reiki healing, Qigong, Tai Chi, Ba Gua, acupressure, healing touch, metaphysics, yoga, the nature of reality and more.
You don’t have to do everything I’ve done to live a life in full stride health like I do.
Today I still have all of my body parts, and all of my vital signs are very good.
Physician, Heal Thyself
As I have already said, the Integral Intelligence within us will heal us and keep us well, if we let it.
Generally, I only see a doctor when I have a physical injury.
Back when I was fifty-something I had injured my hand and needed minor surgery. They required me to have a physical before I could have surgery.
During the physical the doctor asked me what other surgeries I’ve had in the past. I said “None”. He was amazed. He said most people my age, have had at least two surgeries.
The doctor also asked me what medications I was taking. Again, I said “None”. I could see that he didn’t believe me. So, he ordered some lab tests, and the results surprised him a bit. Among the other results my blood pressure was 115/60. He said I was in great shape and sent me on my way.
Living a life in full stride health is possible for most people.
Old age creeps up on most of us, but there are exceptions.
Can You Stay Healthy and Live Forever?
When I was in India, a very wealthy man invited me to a celebration in honor of his Guru. His Guru reportedly never eats, never sleeps, never grows old.
The Guru has some gray hair but looks to be not over 30 years old. During the several hours I was at the party, I watched the Guru constantly. I did not see him eat or drink anything. Which is a little unusual since we were outside in the Indian sunshine.
One of the other guests was about 60 years old. This guest was told by his mother, when the guest was a young boy, that the Guru has not gotten any older since she was a child.
If you are interested, Leonard Orr says in his book that he has met eight people who are over 300 years old.
Eternal life is probably more than you are really interested in right now, but my concept of living “In full stride health” can be enjoyed by nearly everyone.
